I've been to Las Vegas so many times on vacation it's not even funny. But, when it comes down to seeing anything in the town, I'm really rather a novice to be quite honest. I can tell you exactly how to get to the bathroom in so many casinos, but I've never really done any of the touristy things beyond play some

My Travel Tattoo

When I was a child, and I mean young, I broached the subject with my father about getting a tattoo. He told me that if I did I wouldn't live

under his roof any longer. Well, this wasn't really an issue as I've always been afraid of needles. I guess, as I look back on it now, the question was more along the lines of seeing how far I could push his limits, which were obviously not broad enough to allow his young child to get a tattoo - even if it said "I <3 Mom."

My father is a frugal person. I guess that's something that's never been one of my better traits as I like to spend. I think I take more after my mother as she always told me that life is short and you never know when your last day could be so you may as well enjoy it. I think I probably took her a bit too literally as I could do with a bit of my father's sense, or cents in this instance, but that's just how I live life I guess.

Generally my trips to Las Vegas revolve around playing cards and doing other such guy things. But, regardless of the trip, I always like to take a moment to pass by the lion exhibit at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. I love stopping to appreciate the lions, a bit of wildlife in the hustle and

bustle of Sin City, and doing something other than play cards for a minute or two.
